The Eagles Release DE Jason Babin

The Philadelphia Eagles today announced they have released DE Jason Babin.

Said Eagles head coach Andy Reid: “We appreciate everything that Jason has given this team over the last couple of years. We wish him all the best as he continues his career. By releasing him today, this gives us an opportunity to give more playing time to some of younger guys in the defensive line rotation.”

Nah, we love DeMeco and want him to stay.

I still don't think he's 100% healthy yet, and he's been playing very well despite that.

We need to shore up our LB corps, and him and Kendricks are a great start to that.

If Babin's not getting to the QB, he's not doing shyt. And he wasn't getting to the QB nearly enough. Can't say I'm not glad to see him gone.

Telling you guys, Reid won't be let go until Week 17. Lurie wouldn't do that to him, and who'll be interim coach? No one on that damn staff deserves a promotion, not a single one.
