Dwayne Johnson Is Anticipating 'Black Adam' VS. 'Superman'; But It Won't Happen

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has responded to a fan who is looking forward to seeing Black Adam face-off against Superman at some point - and as it turns out, nothing would make Johnson happier.

Official information on DC's Shazam movie is practically none existent. In fact, all we really know for certain at this stage is that Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson will star as the villain of the piece, Black Adam - and to be fair, that's more than enough to keep most fans interested.

The actor has been promoting the role for quite a while now, and never misses an opportunity to drop a few intriquing tidbits. The latest is a Tweet which teases a Black Adam/Superman smackdown... eventually.



I doubt anyone really expected the Man of Steel to show up in the first Shazam movie anyway, but just in case you were holding out hope, it seems the possibility is off the table.
Shazam was originally slated for a 2019 release but Johnson recently suggested that it'd be with us earlier than that, so keep an eye out for more updates

Was really hoping the first Shazam movie would be similar to the animated flick where Supes gets the beat down from Black Adam. It would also be a great way to reveal Supes' weakness to magic but maybe they'll do that in JL part one.
