I find this impossible with college football, etc. because there's almost no way I won't see/hear about the result... but I do watch some EPL, Champions League, etc. because the results aren't everywhere.

There's always some dikk blurting out results :to:

This plus half the point of watching sports is to have people to talk to about it while it is happening or later that week. heading into work the next day if you didn't watch a single game

Last NFL season opening sunday night game Cowboys vs Jets I had to attend a wedding smfh..

I DVR'd the game, shut my phone off the whole evening and avoided any contact with anybody..

Got home and watched the game, and watched romo choke the game away in the 4th quarter smfh

it wasn't bad watching it recorded especially skipping the commercials but its not the same

I do the same with the Giants for that same reason but I won't do it with any of my other favorite teams in different sports. I can't sit there and act like the game wasn't already determined.

I try to. I have one big mouthed ass friend that I can't even talk to cause he'll find a way to spoil the game. Even if it's not flat out saying the score he'll say some shyt like "*sigh* did you see the game" which will let me know my squad lost.

The main games I DVR now are Laker games since they come on so damn late. With me working from home I'll be quick to just fall asleep and catch it the next day.

during the NBA reg season no way I got time to watch all 82 Spurs games

but coming home late at night and seeing a random Spurs game on the DVR without knowing the result is :ahh:
