You ever stayed in Charlotte? If, so what would you say are the biggest differences and similarities between CLT and RAL?

I never lived in Charlotte but visited. It's closer to Atlanta by 3 hours, it's bigger than Raleigh but honestly I can't say aside from that that it's any better than Raleigh-Durham. Just personal preference I guess.

I live in the RTP currently (Research Triangle Park, basically the triangle of Durham, Raleigh and Chapel Hill) and originally from Charlotte. I’ve never heard of this Durham-Chapel Hill grouping in my life, if they gonna group em, why not just say RTP?

Is anyone here familiar with high school sports in the area? What's the best school for Athletics in Raleigh, Durham, etc? Mainly basketball, but athletics in general.
