Drake is reportedly executive producing a posthumous Aaliyah album. Hip Hop DX reports that a source close to Drake has revealed a new song featuring the late R&B singer will debut on Sunday.

The source added that Drake is producing the upcoming posthumous release, which has been hinted at as recently as March. Aaliyah's life was cut short in August 2001 when she and eight others were killed in a plane crash in the Bahamas; she was twenty-two at the time of her death

"I know they trying to drop some Aaliyah records, but if he do it, it should be with me and Missy," Timbo said, referring to reports that Drake was manning the project. "The proper way for him to do that would be for me, him and Missy to be all on the record. The best decision, what the fans would want to see is all three of us.
