I don't think there's beef between Drake and French. He said in his recent Vlad interview they had something cooking. But Drake pulling the record twice rubbed him and especially Rick Ross the wrong way. How you a FAN and you not showing courtesy to your idols is what Ross felt like. I think Ross already felt that Drake didn't want to be on a song with him point-blank, which is why he didn't send in a replacement verse, and now the recent Drake diss confirmed Ross' feelings.

That's why Drake should have sent in a replacement verse. From Ross' POV that means the issue was with being on a song with him. The recent diss just confirmed it to Ross that they got problems.
