Drake exists in a world where success is simply an equation of monetary investment equals results. This is why he thought he had an automatic W against Kendrick. This is how he drowned out Common and Meek and how he escaped too much fallout from Pusha T's disses.

While this does apply in many situations, what it doesn't equate for is when two opposing forces each have high levels of financial backing.

The idea that Drake doesn't have industry backing is absolutely laughable. He's not an indie artist. He has been an industry darling just as much as Kendrick. They both have alot of powerful people in their corner.

And this is the part Drake doesn't get, when facing an opponent with a somewhat comparable standing in the industry, the battle can swing either way, depending on the actual disses. People have ears. People heard the disses and people decided who won.

Drake doesn't get that. So he thinks it was a conspiracy to get him out the paint. He thinks it must have been UMG who made Kendrick win. He doesn't understand that people favored Kendricks songs and that Kendrick has real love within the culture.

We have also been waiting on Drake to get chopped down by Kendrick for about a decade:mjlol:

Only bail i can shoot Drake is that maybe some people in the business are giving him these ideas. But trainers and family make excuses for when a boxer gets knocked out unexpectedly too.

Does UMG have motive to sabatogue Drake? Sure I guess. But the reaction from fans isnt manufactured. Kendrick had the underdog halo going in. Plus had the shock n awe effect like what we got with Ether. Hadnt really seen that side of Nas before.

People hated Ja Rule because they seemed approval from white people in HIP HOP, a black art form. 'White People' as in, Eminem.

Ja Rule needs a whole universal apology from Hip Hop legends like Nas, Jay, and tons others.

Nas was one of the few who publicly said that Ja could come back and it wasn’t over for him. Nas never dissed Ja in fact he was dissing 50 at the height of 50’s popularity.

Jay linked with 50 early and did the Reebox commercial because Irv showed disloyalty by trying to sign Nas to Murda Inc after Nas spanked Jay in the battle. Had Nas on The Pledge Remix throwing victory subs at Jay “Ask that other rapper how it feels to lose your whole gangsta” so can’t really expect Jay to show Ja any love during that period.

Went on reddit to see what the white community was saying

He going out sad.

This from a sub called r/fukkyoukaren too. Even the whites don't want him.

I wonder if he can ask trump for a pardon from the beef and the lawsuit. Just get his record clean.

This is truly one of the most embarrassing things in hip hop and I’ve watched cam/dips get chased out the rucker, gunplay get the living shyt beat out of him at an awards show by g-unit, and yung berg chain take a world tour. You know Drake is calling the NFL begging for them to tell K.dot not to perform NLU

And that’s the most :mindblown: part of all this. The fact he didn’t take Kendrick serious at all even after everything he accomplished is wild.

I said this before, but after “6:16 in LA” dropped and it was revealed that Jack Antonoff co produced it and Jack Dorsey tweeted out his support of Kendrick I knew Drake was in trouble. That let me know top executives got Kendrick’s back.

Drake should have fall back as soon as he saw that and re-strategized. But he had too many yes men around him and his ego was already on another level.

That’s why he is shell shocked right now. He probably thought “Not Like Us” was gonna fade away after a few months. But it didn’t…it just got stronger. And for whatever reason he can’t grasp the fact that he doesn’t got the juice like that no more.

Thats what Drake gets for fukking nikkas wives and girlfriends and using it as ammo for lyrics. He didn’t learn a damn thing from the DJ Drama shyt. Men since recorded history have KILLED over women and this dude was violating and acting like he could never be touched. And we ain’t talking about women that belong to the “Game” like Lira Galore or Johnni Blaze. He was out here smashing executives wives and fiancés. shyt was going to come back to haunt him eventually.
