OVO really disappearing :wow:

Drake never made a good album, and thanks god we'll never have to hear bad album number 16.
Kendrick did the UNTHINKABLE and took down a force in the industry that many classified as "impossible " to defeat.

This could be the biggest change of the status quo of music since the rise of the south in the mid 00s.[/QUOTE]

Ja fought back still got flayed and took it a like a man.

All this while his record label was being scorched by the feds…

Ja deserves more credit than he got

People hated Ja Rule because they seemed approval from white people in HIP HOP, a black art form. 'White People' as in, Eminem.

Ja Rule needs a whole universal apology from Hip Hop legends like Nas, Jay, and tons others.

This is what happens when the culture turns a blind eye to the bullshyt for too long. Like grown men kissing other grown men for magazine covers and trying to pass it off as cool, goddamn rat b*stard :scusthov:

You know that once Drake falls, a lot of the ATL movement and strip club culture will collapse with him, right?

nah i think after he engaged in the battle they saw the opening and said fukk it this is our shot, i dont think them and kendrick carved this plan up together, they never would have a way to weaken drake and make him take less in negotiation until this point then i think they made the move after that

kendrick already won the battle already
hes streamed #1 off his old shyt is a futile point if he was dismantled people would stop listening
none of his songs he released after that point had a serious rollout all the songs were released on his 100 gigs site
or just features
he simply hasnt released any music officially, hes doing ig rollouts or website rollouts and they go to streams a week later hes clearly testing his independent potential, whatever he saw gave him grace enough to go through with the lawsuit

i can see your argument is drake is done but u can never be done if people are still playing the music

I lowkey think he's with the crashout.
Because he will always have a set of safety nets that actual nikkas don't get: pop music and jewish comedy film directors.

If Drake was somehow banned from rap tomorrow, the man would be making dance music for white women and Judd Apatow movies for white men before Kendrick got around to shoot another video for something off GNX. He knows he got a backup plan to the backup plan to backup his backup plan.

And his whole career has been exactly that way.

Kendrick's whole world in rap. There's no backup plan. If Kendrick was banned from ever releasing rap music tomorrow, he'd keep making it and stashing it away until he died.

The drive is different. So the love is different.
