The theory that UMG plotted on this beef to lower drake's value is absolutely moronic :mjlol: .....Aubrey's value was already dropping for years. UMG didn't need a rap beef to prove that. He used to do 700k albums first week. Now he can barely muster up 400k with a 23 song album. Then he ran to 21 for help and he still barely did 400k. After he dropped honestly nevermind and did 200k first week he's been desperate as fukk to remain relevant.

So once again. This is just Aubrey being a sore losing fakkit. Once UMG brings these facts to the table it's really gonna get embarrassing for him. Drake is just a soft ass p*ssy who can't accept reality.
Ur man just flopped I wouldn't talk

Jokes aside, what Drake is doing is the sensible thing.

Defamation is a tricky topic. By not taking any action, he kind of leaves himself exposed to claims in the future. Even if they're caught lying, they'll argue that he was not defamed because the world already viewed him as a pedo.

We live in a time where this shyt can spread like wildfire so it behoves him to get ahead of it.

Drake makes irrational decisions all the time. Why would anyone be surprised at him making another by filing bs lawsuits on some Trump shyt. Everything he’s complaining about has been used to his advantage for years. He’s simply mad somebody with access to the same machine made a smash hit that clowns him while he slaves away in his deal.

And no Drake is not broke. He simply realized he’s not built for the Ed Sheeran life of touring nonstop to satisfy a massive contract.
You did not answer my question.

Should drake call out foul play. Yes or no?

Let’s say you own UMG and Kendrick and Drake are both signed to you.

When you see the world’s reaction to Like That, do you not bush your negotiations to see how it plays out? This might make Drake even bigger or damage his career.

Obviously you let the beef play out before you over pay him right? His value might take a huge loss depending on how this plays out. You might get him for a discount :manny:

Now your the label, and Euphoria is trending more Push Ups. What do you do? Do you remain neutral or pick a side?

Obviously you remain neutral..

When we get to Not Like Us vs Family Matters the you see Not Like Us is bigger than a diss record. So what do you do?

The same thing you did for Gods Plan, Rich Flex, Hot Line Bling, One Dance.

Drakes problem isn’t that the label did him dirty. His problem is his ego. He can’t believe he lost.

The label invested in a radio friendly song. They could have gave Spotify 100% discount. People still have to LISTEN to the song..
He’s stupid (and his lawyers are fleecing him) if he denies the popularity of the song.

but

…If the label exceeded standing marketing obligations to push a song against THEIR PRIME ASSET IN THE MIDDLE OF NEGOTIATIONS…then is that wrong?
