Knowing Drake, I wouldn't put it past him. What if Cole tapped out because this is the future he seen.
Maybe Drake told him "I will sue everyone if I lose" and Cole hit the

We’re really seeing people with zero basic business knowledge popping off and throwing around legal terms like they’re attorneys. If Drake satisfied his deal already he wouldn’t be rushing off to do another massive tour in three months, while promising another collab album lmao. People can’t be this stupid.Stop basing your arguments on fairy tales
Aubrey just filed a suit, someone please hand him a settlement nowThis nikka really went and got the law involved on his own volition.
He wasn't pressured by the threat of prison time or nothing. He lost a rap battle and filed paperwork.
That's crazy bro
Joe Budden raised the point. Let’s say you literally recouped but they say you didn’t. If you want to sell me on Taylor Swift being able to satisfy a half a billion dollar deal in a couple years…fine, I will entertain it. This this shyt? Nonsense.
He is not saying public opinion was swayed. He’s asking if his label intentionally tanked their own asset to devalue their renegotiation efforts.Drake asked for a battle and bit off more than he could chew. If he wouldn't have asked for it, it never would have happened. Can't go crying to mom for help after poking somebody then proceed to get your ass whooped afterwards. The initial lawsuit is whatever, but we all saw this unfold in real time. Drake dropped then immediately was forgotten about once Kendrick slapped him up. Just look at the threads here, you got just a handful of people still riding for Drake, the overwhelming majority of us know what's up. We ain't bots, nor were we swayed by algorithms. We saw it, listened, and liked it just like the majority of the people that were tuned in.

Math Hoffa raised this point. If Drake is in 90-10 label split and Kendrick is in a 60-40, you get more out of the 60-40 than the guy who already maxed you out last time. The best thing for UMG would be to reduce drakes already sky high earning payouts and structure to make him more pliable at the deal table. Drake was literally saying Kendrick’s splits were trash, of course the label would want Drake to eat dirt to force him to take a smaller deal in the middle of a renegotiation.
And he doesn't have a single good album. Drake really does lack talent.
Except label heads have already confirmed that this happens to other artists
I can’t keep doing your homework for you
