I told you when & how to rise from the ashes months ago. Your behind the scenes “tough guy” BS, well your Minion’s BS, had an impact all the way here in Thailand that I wanted to address but I was hoping you’d clean up that embarrassment first but you covered that stench of rotten eggs with a 500lbs. bag of monkey crap with these latest litigious stunts. You & I both know you are NO SJW (social justice warrior). If these legal assertions were coming from let’s say, a Chuck D, Common, hell I might even except a Ye and/or Cube but YOU? NO! My DMs have been filled with comments such as “Dude is really the guy that tells the teacher she forgot to collect the homework”, “He is in deep Karen mode”, “It’s giving ‘The ni**er hit me, get him!’” & “Bruh asked for the fade got beat up then called the police.” This is all nasty work. Why don’t you stop hiding & tell these folks what’s really up? You feel UMG used the Kendrick situation to stagnate your momentum and put you in a position to where you could no longer call your shot money wise and had to capitulate to THEIR DEMANDS. You now are no longer the “BIG DOG”. They reined you in, neutered you & you no like. Bruh, your gambling habits alone was gonna put you under their thumb like Bruno is with MGM. This is your “Ni**a Wake Up Call”. I’ve given you plenty of advice as to how to move forward & “save face” but you were scared to burn it down with DIGNITY & INTEGRITY so you chose this? THIS????? When Cube single handedly destroyed the tightly woven fabric of NWA, as Jerry wanted legal action, did they sue? NO! When HOV, NAS, & Prodigy would all go against one another did they take it to the courts when their diss records became popular? NO! Kwamé had a legit case in today’s legal BS against BIG but did he have a lawyer attack, HELL NO! So why would you turn your once bulletproof legacy into sh** with legal actions you cannot come back from just because UMG played YOU? You’re “The Boy”, right? Nah more like THEY BOY. I hope you take care because this ain’t gonna end well. “DIAGEO on 3! 1, 2, 3 DIAGEO!”
View all 188 comments

Completely different mood IMO. Jay dropped that on the Clue tape and I started worrying for Nas cause I thought grimy Vol. I Jay was about to jump off the top rope. Nah, it was just a desperate attempt to get the people back on your side after they already decided you took the L. I think it was Bomani who says Jay was making disses for the public while Nas was making disses for an audience of one. Same applies here.

Was People Talkin before Ether? My memory was after, it was on that Roots Live album, right?

but like you said grimy. Not Like Us is commercial westcoast gangster rap, it's not edgy really at all, from a production or flow standpoint and besides a couple of lines. Not Like Us is triumphant. Back To Back is like that too. It's cool, for lack of a better word.

Heart Part 6 is paranoid and rambling, complicated narratives and conspiracies. Felt like he was talking to himself or his close allies. It wasn't narratively strong. I honestly kind of enjoy it but I like dark, weird shyt, low tempo tracks. I have never even voluntarily played Not Like Us. Heart Part 6 not a strong closing argument.

Ironically that beat sounds like a great example of drakes mindset. Dark, sad, humbled, spiteful, disorganized. :wow:

So, you believe a court is going to set a precedent with a ruling that

1. Actions taken to allow the increased distribution of other artists' music,
2. Regardless of whether you are or are not mentioned on said music,
3. Without substantial evidence that YOUR music was suppressed

Could be grounds for the declaration of damages.

Bruh, basically this is what UMG allegedly did. Drake was up for a new deal and gassed NLU to tank his value. Thats functionally illegal AND may also violate their own contractual interactions with existing marketing policies they have in house.

I dont know why you can’t accept or consider this possibility.

Drake has a unique deal. So his claims are specific that and their contractual obligations to him. This wouldn't work for any other artist. It's black and white. Either they violated the terms of his contract or they didnt.

Drake really a retard for this...legal experts are right, he's wasting time and taking another massive L

After proving he has no talent for rapping, he's now showing the entire world he has low IQ
He didn't finish high school :mjcry:

Kendrick graduated with a 4.0 GPA. The game was rigged from start :mjcry:

exactly

Kendrick's team called it right there. I am sure UMG and Interscope and everyone is doing some behind the door shyt, with everything, but from just a battle perspective, Kendrick knew it was done. It was a tactical judgement call and the right one.

A track like Heart Part 6 was never going to capture the masses. it was an unforced error from the master tactician. or whatever he called himself.

he was already defeated, deflated, delusional, rambling, scrambling for a coherent narrative. I remember thinking what the fukk are they thinking with this?

If Last Real nikka Alive came out right after Take Over, Jay would have easily won. it's only a year later that you can get more vulnerable, and introspective. And take like a victory lap of sorts.
