It wasn’t proven to be wrong, it just disappeared

Drake isn’t suing Kendrick for what he said; he’s suing UMG for amplifying it illegally. Kendrick could sue UMG for the same reason but there’s no evidence they amplified Family Matters the same way

Finally someone looking at this objectively and not thinking this is about the battle. It explains the 100 Gigs play.

Didn’t Drake falsely call someone a woman beater? Like how is this gonna hold up in court?
The suit (or pre-suit) isn’t about the content of the song, it’s about UMG illegally amplifying to help ruin the value of his music and career.
Dawg he’s on Taylor Made telling Kendrick to speak about the pedophile shyt. He also says he expected the Epstein angle on The Heart pt.6 these are talking points he introduced and invited himself - and asked Kendrick to speak on.

Besides, even if you restrict “we fed you that information” to the made up daughter shyt. UMG can similarly argue that Kendrick didn’t say his name when saying “certified pedophile”. What now?

“say Drake, I hear you like em young” is framed as a question and hearsay, but most importantly is vague (n age range presented)

Don’t ever challenge me again bytch ass nikka. I’m a Breh&Breh Associates™ Senior Partner :pacspit:
Good thing you work for those guys over there at Breh&Breh Associates and not for us over Coliberg and Brehstein. We like to win our cases :mjlol:

Neither of the songs you mentioned are apart of this filing; neither is Kendrick Lamar. This is aimed at UMG. “Drake told Kendrick to take the Epstein angle” would be laughed at by any judge, as it has no basis in what is being alleged.

Also, playing semantics in legal proceedings is an amateurish defense. Everyone knows what the song, video, and artwork are about, so much so there we’re fanatics doxing minors and women all around the country to try and prove something that has no basis in fact.

I’m a founding partner at Coliberg and Brehstein LLP, and moonlight at DaHellwitz Injury Attorneys. Get your facts straight.

Reading ain’t fundamental for a lot of people. The defamation claim is about UMG illegally blowing up the song knowing it had no basis in fact and could harm his career. UMG didn’t amplify Family Matters, therefore it’s not the same thing.
I get the angle of them illegally blowing up the song. I don’t think he should file a suit for that either but what evs. Defamation of character is about what was said. So he’s suing because of the bars on the song.
