I fukk with Drake's music, but this is who he has always been since he came into the game. He's always been a p*ssy suburban kid. He changed the structure of the game a lot with just his success. And Kanye.

This is the same professional class tactics we could expect.

I came up in the Drake era, as a 20 something, but I always knew what was up. I used to joke all the time that his music was for people who worked at Chase Bank, essentially the professional class, for whom gangster rap was too much. And "conscious" rap was too much. Drake was just right. and that's why Drakes music has essentially no real "heart", or real identity. It's very safe and plays to the professional class. I can listen to both and inhabit both spaces, but I know Drake's music, nor Drake, isn't that real gritty street shyt, that playing basketball with no nets shyt. That's how I came up.

Of course, I grew to really love his music, mostly when he embraced the R&B side.

Yep just look at the ghost writing stuff
