All this is true, but it's still a heavy track in this era, and how Pusha responds needs to be measured and impactful, or he will look bad.

Also, deflection is kind of the way of my generation, (millenial) whether you stand with it or not, people don't think in terms of values like right or wrong, it's all subjective and relative, in terms of the public arena.

The brother/cousin bars don't hold water, neither to the Escobar ones, by which I mean, comparing anyone to possibly the biggest drug trafficker of all time is going to come up short, but is that the bar we are setting? I said Del wrote Gangsta's Fairytale, I posted a thread where the Yo! MTV raps interview was posted then taken down, and quoted his statement saying he wrote it directly from the thread.

You're passing it off as "his cousin gave him a track" like that's any different than what Drake is being accused of in this thread.

I'm not seeing how the Del situation is the same as Drake from any angle. By Del's own admission Cube had so many raps he was writing for Del, Yo-Yo, Da Lench Mob, etc. He literally had notepads full of rhymes.

He let Del write that song to put some money in his pocket.

Drake is going to win because Pusha's style is very one dimensional. Drake can body a nikka and make the world boogie at the same time. It's a new age. Bars matter but Drake knows how to create a wave and finish a nikka at the same time. Push is a dope lyricist but like I said before, one dimensional with a style that isn't totally dated, but he's not ready to go toe to toe with the Aubrey machine. He's going to get fukked up no matter how nice he is.
