I'm not even close to being a Lil Baby fan but he's been grinding and putting out music years with his mixtapes before My Turn. In fact, My Turn's not even his 1st album. It's just his breakout album.

I still think he's mid at best but his rise was definitely organic and didn't "come out of nowhere."

I still can't understand how this dude has stayed on top for this long. I'm glad I'm not in his demographic is all I can say. We would've never let that happen. We had corny big time sellers in the 90s-2000s no doubt, but they were never allowed to be the top dog because they sold more. But oh well it ain't for me.

Cap. Nelly was a top dog at one point. So was 50. Both made "good music" but were (and still are) corny as hell
