Dragonball was a better show then Dragonball Z, superior in almost every way

By a huge margin. The story telling, fighting and the adventure in Dragonball was unfukkwittable. DBZ was great at the start, but after Namek everything fell apart.

It's an action fighting show. Which DBZ wins easily.

I understand where you're coming from but it's matter of opinion first of all, and if I'm going to be 100% honest, I'll watch something else for the stuff you listed.

DB is needed to make DBZ that much better, it's the back story... But man, there ain't scenes in DB that could actually cause a tear jerk for me personally..

Goku's first transformation... Vegeta's death, both times lol

Of course its better. DBZ just gets too stupid after Freeza. I'd even say the action is better in DB. It doesn't devolve into power ups, screaming and beam spam.

King Piccolo saga ( )and 23rd World Martial Arts Tourny were epic and Dragonball holds a special place in my childhood memories, but DB was pretty slow and kiddy until about up until then. Especially before the Red Ribbon saga
