Dr Umar spot on as usual. Only argument Joe had was that hiphop shouldnt bear that responsibility. Other than that, there only argument is that Nas may be hiring black people, and Jay gave a bunch of black people jobs at 40/40 club:mjlol:

“Hip Hop has created technological advancements”

“What technological advancements”

“Podcasting”

LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

Aight.

Elon is out here sending rockets to the moon daily, creating AI brain implants, creating AI supercluster training facilities and the best these guys have is….podcasting.

Mind you, not creating or building anything regarding podcasting. Just sitting on a couch speaking into a mic.

They should be embarrassed.

Dr umar has done more harm than good

Made a b*stardization and mockery of pan africanism and created nothing but broken homes and a laundry list of broken promises

Fifty years and all he's accomplished is the lining of his pockets and becoming an internet meme

Yet his followers probably more lost than he is:scust:

And being a deadbeat father on top of that, which imo is even worse.

Yep… “Jay gave away scholarships to 50 students” 😂

Yeah but millions of our women are walking around with blond and pink weaves, pretty much wearing just underwear in the streets and the boys aren’t focused, thinking they’ll be rappers, fighting, killin, etc

I don’t think hip hop has helped much…

Buddy had me on the edge of my seat when he said technological advancements, but podcasting:mjlol:?

The main credit Ive given hiphop even at its most ignorant,is that its been the best stop gap we have to prevent the full on assimilation of black people in this country. Just due to its "anti whiteness" and defiantley blackness, its has helped slow the proccess.

But then the question becomes is anti assimilation even a "pro" or a "con" if you live in the heart of white supremacy. Assimilation would arguably assist you in your upward mobility. The argument against that is obviously pro blackness and maintaining ones identity/independence to a certain degree.

Joe Budden and the rest of them dudes on this podcast brought up positive things like “Well Nas has employed 1000 black people”. That’s cool and all but, it still doesn’t negate the fact that hip hop has influenced black people to associate the term “black people” with poverty, strife, and ignorance.

For example, I remember when Obama didn’t even make it to the White House yet, and there were black people who said he’s not “hood” enough

Also, Ja Morant is a black man who came from the suburbs who is clearly trying to emulate rappers that he sees on tv

There’s also that light skinned girl that had a part to play in killing Julio Foolio. Her fukking crib looked amazing, and yet, there she was, getting arrested for killing somebody

Hell, even the word “nikka”, which is the worst word that has ever been used against us, has been successfully rescued by hip hop

Hiphop has been one of the greatest tools for White Supremacy, anybody stating otherwise is in denial
