Sadly I don't see reparations as a realistic goal for American blacks (I'm West Indian descent, so that was British slavery). American blacks got one of the most raw deals possible, but in 2013 the idea of reparations has gotten too stale. I have no idea how the govt can successfully address the problems of poverty, especially in this political environment. As a population, folks need leverage before they can realistically demand anything from anyone. Other than that we just playing games. Sometimes it helps to be a realist, don't get the hopes up for unlikely events.
