I remember that, but instead of using a bootleg version of him, just find somebody else entirely with their own style. It just felt disrespectful to find some clone.

Forget who it was that was on there after Akon but that person had been working heavily with Dre for Detox. Either Kobe or Sly; still unfortunately sounds like a placeholder for Nate Dogg to come back and finish. Maybe now with AI someone can make a version that actually has Nate Dogg on there.

The idea that somebody is probably thinking "wow he didn't even approve of the hook yet look how good the song came out just goes to show you .... Blahblahblah"


When the reality is that the song is definitively a complete flop when it's released by an established entity and it's only legs of relevance coincide with the marketing and promo cycle budget expenditure
