Please dont play coy, there is one political party who refuses to accept the scientific consensus of climate, who refuses regulations and hates it, who tries to always favour the corporation not the average consumer, so yes the republicans are part to blame, if you have a serious government response things like this happening can be mitigated seriously

Katie St. Clair, the sea life facility manager at Texas A&M University at Galveston, said the fish simply can't breathe because of the lower-than-normal, dissolved oxygen in the water.

“As we get these warmer Gulf water temperatures, the water itself has less capacity to hold dissolved oxygen, which of course is really important and essential for the fish and other animals to breathe," she said.

St. Clair said this phenomenon affects schools of fish the most.

“It's still alarming to see that and just because it's a natural occurrence doesn't mean it's necessarily a pleasant one," said Bryan Frazier, Brazoria County's park director.

It's not dozens. It hundreds of thousands if not millions of fish, including stingrays and a shark. There are still dead fish in the ocean being brought to shore by the tides, and apparently this pile of dead fish stretches for a couple of miles.

I wouldn't touch a piece of seafood for the next couples of months at least. There will be people at night time scavenging what they can to put on a plate and sell it to you as a 9.99 lunch special
