I still can't believe we ran than zone man at the goal line against Seattle. I have never in my life played that kind of defense at the goal line going back to when I was 9 yrs old. You condense the D, and run cover 2 since the safeties can't get too deep and you have the middle covered. If the rush can't get to him then at least he has no escape route straight past a DB with his back tirned. You do not shift from zone to man because you spread everybody out and the dbs are in no mans land, if they play the QB the receivers get lost, play the receiver and your back is turned and you can't pass the man off.

We shyt on players every single game. Guys like Moody, McKivitz and Ronnie Bell get trashed -and rightfully so- weekly. What else you want

I want players to perform or get the fukk out, same as always lol.... We know Kyle isn't going anywhere so blaming him every time Moody fukks up or Ronnie Bell drops a ball or McKivitz commits a drive killing penalty doesn't really do much.

went easy on Shanny..... he's right that most games do end up being close but you know who won those type of games every year? His teams... the Pats did. The Chiefs typically do. The niners of the 80's and early 90's typically did.

Winning close games separates the good/average teams and great teams.

Shanny has a great resume with us so he'll be fine but next year is going to start with him under some pressure...
