Harbaugh did the same thing. We lost three very winnable games with Harbaugh that all came down to the wire. The NFC title game vs. the Giants was the worst because we had to sit here and witness Alex Smith be unable to move the ball time and time again.
But then we lost in the Super Bowl to the Ravens where we were playing catch up the whole way. We lost a very winnable game vs. Seattle as well. Then we went like 8-8 and Harbaugh was gone.
And you know what happened? We went right back to sucking..... The same thing also happened with Andy Reid in Philly. How many NFC title games did he blow at home?
He's a "genius" now? No, he was always a good coach. The difference is Mahomes is one of the GOATs AND they've gotten lucky too. Reid is the same coach as he always was. Reid didn't coach a good game last year either. They had more breaks go their way.
A lot of half truths in this statement. The giant game came down to Kyle Williams fumbled. The giants offense was punting Eli wasn’t moving the ball either. The Ravens is the only black mark on Jim’s tenure. The Seahawks game was always going to be close, those rosters were extremely similar and Kaep went for a home run shot instead of taking what the defense was giving him and it backfired.
Baalke was undermining Harbaurgh and despite all of the background noise still went 8-8. Then they hired Jim tomsula and chip Kelly, that is why they sucked. Hiring the right coach with this roster is huge. That is why I say go grab Ben Johnson from the lions and call it a day.
What did the eagles do after firing Andy Reid? They won their very first Super Bowl and it is Kyle’s shyt coaching that he gets his first ring, he gets his third again due to Kyle’s shyt coaching. Reid leaned on his best player and did a number of different things to get results. If Kyle’s script fails he does not know how to adapt. He is a one punch boxer, take away that punch and they are done like Kyle.
