The 2022 season was healthy as well though. The big injuries were all on QBs and it largely turn out for the better as it meant Brock took over...though of course it also meant the NFCCG being over before it even started . But that final stretch and playoff run we basically had all our playmakers as healthy as possible.

Two consecutive deep playoff runs with that kind of health is almost impossible in today's NFL. Asking for a third one is asking for a miracle.

Brock Purdy has to be one of the most quietly elite QBs I can think of in recent memory. I mean his ability to make quick reads an an even faster release. Got Jauan Jennings looking like a pro bowler.

Purdy has had better numbers than most QBs the last two seasons including all of the advanced metrics but there's two things going on...

1. People like scouts or talking heads don't typically like to admit they were "wrong" on a late round draft pick, especially a QB... so there's still some bias and hesitancy to "buy in"

2. QBs are graded by Super Bowl wins a lot of times and it's interesting... if you've never made a Super Bowl you are given more of a pass than if you have made a Super Bowl but didn't come out victorious.
