You get the cap more than anyone else here. Is there any way out of this besides a HUGE salary dump? Why are we even trying to sign Aiyuk if this is true?

they can kick the can down the road as always...Im not that good at cap algebra lol. but they can restructure contracts to defer the money
Aiyuk deal if gets done will likely free up some cap for next season too
Do the math, Purdy will count about 50 mil, a lot of payroll has to be moved around

I still don’t get why they ain’t up the roster limit. I mean at least increase it to 58
We don't even know what the cap will be next year for dude to throw that number out there like that. Plus a Purdy extension shouldn't count next year, it's the added years that would be an issue. If I'm not mistaken we were like 30 million over for this current season but we now have the most cap space in the league.
