Not computer ones..because someone knows because they're traceable.

We did one where everyone typed their responses without their name and put them in a big ass box for HR.

sidenote OP is right because i have a team that spies on all my employees at Wayne Corp who fall for this quarterly.

I can personally attest to this. A few months ago they did an all employee survey at my job and of course I kept it real about how things were while also saying good things about my boss and not mentioning him by name.

Unfortunately, they took those results and did a heat map based on each individual manager and the responses that their employees gave. Makes sense now why it was rumored that certain bosses were helping their employees fill out the survey :francis:

I LIVE IN A CARDBOARD BOX!
Ah, the good ol’ days at CVS. I once filled out one of those ‘anonymous’ surveys with the brutal honesty of a toddler who just discovered the word ‘no.’ Spoiler alert: they were about as anonymous as an invite to a P. Diddy party-everyone knows who's attending, even if they're trying to stay under the radar. Lesson learned: honesty is the best policy… unless you’re filling out a work survey.

I did one of those last year and got called into the office. I guess she thought I was gone back down and I doubled down on everything I said. But I knew nothing was gone happen because we were really understaffed at the time

I abstain from every work survey and have for years

They try to tell me "you've gotta take it" but every corporate email says it's optional

Last time I filled one out, my direct supervisor needed to have an action plan for one of the really stupid questions

I wasn't trying to indict my direct supervisor or create meaningless work for them

So now I just abstain every time
