I just downloaded this the other day after finding the cartridge... I don't think I ever even really played it.

How was it compared to the DKC games?

game was really really ill... It was like an over the top version of mario 64. Definitely beat it, but never got all the secrets. Game was packed with things to try and complete.

"Too little too late" is the best way to describe what happen with this game.

Had it been released after Mario 64 and before Banjo-Kazooie, it would've been up there as one of the memorable ones of that era. But by time it came out, the N64 was on its way out and it got overlooked....not to mention B-K stole its shine.

Very good game tho.

Rare was on fire durin the N64 era, they practically could do no wrong.
Perfect Dark ?
Conker ?
Banjo Kazooie ?
Donkey Kong ?

And not only were their games good they continously pushed the n64, stuff they were doing in
Conkers Bad Fur Day and Perfect Dark was pretty damn impressive.
