This is an old joint but I had to make a thread. Song is beautiful indeed and if you only got into Dom recently you need to hear this classic shyt...

lately all I been listening to is Freddie Gibbs, Dom Kennedy, Nipsey, YG and Old State Property, Jay-Z and Lox shyt...Get Home Safely, Crenshaw and Cocaine Pinata is the main cds in my rotation....thats some classic Dom Kennedy shyt you just posted though..I played Future Street/Drug Sounds a couple weeks ago and it still goes

This was before Dom was too cool to rap. He's never been a lyricist or an "in your face" rapper, but now bruh is just too lazy with the flow. He did have some joints on Get Home Safely though

Shoutout NT for putting me onto him, first tape I heard was Best After Bobby, delved into the rest of his catalog after that
you act like he wasnt rappin after the FS/DS album though...you forgot that From the Westside With Love I & II, Original Dom K, Yellow Album and Young Nation Vol. 1 came out after that?

Yesss. He's gold wit that talk rap shyt.
He on a Nipsey joint and I'm like nikkas tailored this shyt RIGHT for Dom style. Nip even hopped on Dom flow. Love they music together too

if he didnt say "New Nipsey Hussle" in the beginning I would've thought it was a Dom Kennedy track

I'm saying he was rapping after FS/DS, around FTWW2 is when he got on that "cool shyt"

Some of FTWW2, Young Nation, Yellow Album, GHS is all on that extremely lazy flow
