Speaking to XFINITY by Comcast, Dolph Ziggler revealed that he is none too pleased with WWE opting to utilize part-time talent in the premiere matches at WrestleMania instead of regulars—four of the six wrestlers advertised in the top three billed bouts are part-timers. When asked whether he is annoyed or inspired by this fact, he replied "it's both."

"It really pisses me off," Ziggler noted. "But, it also is good business. Every year a part timer comes back, but there’s a reason that they’re back. Whether it’s the fans want to see them, if they’re a draw, if they’re a movie star, there’s a reason that they’re back. They’re not back just to do it. There’s business to be had. And it pisses me off and it motivates me a hundred percent. It makes me want to be that guy that they’re begging to come back. I appreciate it, it’s just good business. When people come to Wrestlemania to see the Rock and the Undertaker and they leave that Wrestlemania thinking, “Wow, that Dolph Ziggler stole the show. I can’t wait to tune in to ‘Raw’ to see what he does next.” That’s how I’ve lived my entire career."

"The Show-off" also offered his two cents on his affiliation with Big E Langston and AJ Lee, saying it's "crazy" that he's now a locker room veteran assisting young talent.

"As the roster is changing and we have less guys from the late 90s, unless they’re on a light schedule, I’m good enough to be giving back to young up and comers," said Ziggler. "And it’s really cool to have someone like an AJ and a Big E. I really appreciate that they want the best, they want to know what’s going on, they want to know why I did things in a match. It helps that they were childhood fans. AJ’s dream as a child was to be a WWE Superstar. I was five-years-old and I wanted to be a Superstar. We have that bond. It makes it that much more rewarding. And we’re just getting started. Once Wrestlemania comes and goes we’ll have more time to settle in and I think you’ll see a nice trio of great talent that could be the future of the business."

Well, Dolph, if you had any incentive and any balls and hadn't let Cena bury your ass for the majority of the last year, maybe you would not be jobbing left and right in meaningless tag matches and would actually be a project worth investing into. LOL@Big E being more protected on television than this certified joker.

How does one prevent themselves from being buried by Cena? Just curious.

Ziggler interviews are somewhat humorous when he's not on wwe tv. Of course the humor is mostly unintentional and ironic. Silly Ziggy, main event spots are for people that draw, or at least get consistent crowd reaction.

The only interview where he didn't come off annoying was on Colt Cabana's podcast, because that was a basically shoot interview with no kayfabe agenda.

Let's see..become successful enough where you don't have to leech off of managers...actually live up to the hype...be a bag carrier for Cripple H in the gym....be born 500 lbs and be under WCW's employ as a competitor to steal...be married to Stephanie McMahon...be given a dead man gimmick that makes you immortal in fans' eyes...sit on a ramp and cry about being held down by part timers and Cena before the biggest WM of all time...just a few things. Now...all of this is outside of Ziggler's grasp understandably which means he needs to recognize that, part timers or not, he would STILL be a jobbing loser who plays second fiddle to AJ Lee.

As for the crowd support argument? A few Let's go Ziggler chants aren't gonna cut it...they got behind Randy Orton, who was bland beyond comprehension, in 2004 with the Randy chants and Let's go Orton chants for like two months and they pushed him to the World title but guess what? Cripple H made sure he flopped and that idiot didn't recover until like 2007 when RVD and Michaels started laying down for him for months. Ziggler has no one that wants to do that for him. That's why he's tapping out to the Miz on Raw these days. He doesn't know how to make himself stand out...being a fake Mr. Perfect isn't gonna work.

Ziggler kayfabing? :heh:

Dude has been getting carried his entire career...

Here's to his eventual cash-in and win, but dude is :troll: with that, I KNOW he ain't gone repeat that shyt to Rock, Brock, Nash, UT, HHH or anybody else who "part-times". I think he's tremendously talented, but if you're gonna be pissed at something, be pissed at the man that hires and uses these "part-timers"

I have to ask... is it still real to you, dammit?

I like the part where R=G blames wrestlers for how they are booked, and bolds fragments of quotes to respond to, ignoring the fact that in between them lies completely respectable statements.

Acting like his GOD wasn't given a push he didn't earn, absolutely hated by crowds as Rocky Maivia, and jobbing to Stone Cold Steve Austin for years.

And you talk about Big E being protected, like that's not what the 'E does with almost EVERY BIG MAN that starts out on TV :heh:

Nah. I'm always right. But it's CERTAINLY real to Dolph Ziggler and I hope he can figure out what's real and what isn't because he's floundering into a sea of endless mediocrity.

It's probably real to him because he works for the company. The Rock is very real to you yet he has no idea you exist, champ.

He's real to you as well, Saturday warrior.

Respectable=bytching. New TSC mantra. The Rebel and his kind.

Rocky Maivia was a 1996 thing and he made Ross push him as heel and created his own ticket. And it's great to job to Austin yet make more money in the business as a guy who jobs. Something Ziggler just can't relate to sadly. So he better stick to "making new young stars" or whatever bullshyt he suscribes to this week with his fake excitement in a losing role.

Oh you're right..Diesel, Bam Bam, Zeke, Khali. But Big E is Black and they don't like those kind of folks in Connecticut..remember? Not unless they're dancing or c00ning it up on the R Truth or Kofi level. So if he's underneath Big E, he's a complete fukking waste of time at this juncture.
