THe KKK hates the catholic church and more than likely designed their "hoods" that way to mock them/reapropriate the symbolism of the hood the same way Nazi's did with the Swastika.

There is a whole book "Behind The Lodge Door" that details the history of how freemasons used the KKK to sabotage the church numerous times here in the US.

I think the Spanish Catholics have a festival that is ironically a more festive KKK where the hoods are the color of the rainbow and the public dances and plays music with them. Its an easter tradition , so they probably just finished doing it last week.


They have a bunch of color schemes in Spain. But they honestly do look like wizards (the harry potter kind) in the purple and black color archetype
