Indeed, it does. I think many of us can't really see it because the concept of "customer service" has been a thing most of our lifetimes here and we expect it.

I laugh just at the thought of how this scenario would have played out in a couple of places I've been outside of America where no one gave a fukk about making sure you felt valued as a customer. You were either going to take the food or leave it. Being an American and trying to pull this somewhere else that is not on a resort is going to give you a very interesting experience.
