Does Microsoft not bother anymore with advertising Xbox? PS5 is everywhere

I honestly don’t remember the last time I saw an Xbox commercial either on tv or social media. On the other hand, PS5 commercials are everywhere. And Sony doesn’t just advertise PS5 console, they also heavily advertise third party games.

Take for instance, Hogwarts legacy, this is one of the biggest games releasing this year and will sell consoles. Not only do Sony have the marketing rights, they have exclusive content, dual sense hogwarts controller, and endless advertising of the game on PS5. The average consumer probably thinks the game is not on Xbox

Shouldn’t Microsoft be doing shyt like this. Is their strategy just simply buying all the publishers and nothing else?

as the market leader, Sony is in a better position to secure these kind of deals. but MS does it too, usually in the form of getting the games on Gamepass, like Atomic Heart

Yep, UFC is the only live American broadcast I watch and every even there's a new PS5 game being advertised or a multi game being advertised for the PS5, I guess MS spend all their marketing money on shytty lawyers for the Activision deal.

I think big publisher buy outs are essentially over after this, regardless of the outcome
