"How good the economy is right now"? See, this is why the Democrats lost badly. They keep pushing this 'everything is fine according to our numbers' bs, but in reality, when you and I go to the store and have to spend money, we don't get as much as we used to get because everything is more expensive. It's insulting. These dudes just refuse to learn their lesson.
Lost the house, the senate and the executive seats because the economy is going so well for the average person. I'm sure some dumbass will run in here thirsty as hell to tell me about GDP, deficits or whatever goofyism they can think of to make themselves feel smarter than they are tho

Yeah I've heard it so many times from casuals "the economy is doing better". It sounded incredibly tone deaf when I know what I'm paying for groceries and I know the struggles of family members.

If you are a black person and you genuinely beleive trump won this election primarily based on economic issues then you are truly lost and is no hope at all. The man flat out wants to enact crippling tariffs that will put alot of stress on the average person who will bear the costs, he wants to allow big corporations to have free reign regardless of the consumers benefits, he put a coal/oil lobbyist in charge of the EPA the government agency tasked with environmental protections in his previous tenure. It was not about the economy, the second trump is inaugurated this angry racists who have spent the last four years whining about inflation and gas prices will not say a single word, as long as their guy is charge, fox news will herald the economy as the best thing since apple pie

Then the liberal calls them stupid for saying their experiences are not in line with the stats and "experts", and hits the shocked Pikachu when you don't vote for their candidates.

Groceries are expensive for a bunch of different reasons
Mainly goes back to the simple law of supply and demand. If something disrupts a component of the supply chain, production costs go up so the selling price goes up as well
We've got wars, diseases, labor strikes, and natural disasters happening around the world where we source our food and purchasesd goods
It def sucks but it's kinda an inevitability though not helped by the pandemic we're still technically in.

I just left from Colombia and basically I average about 70 bucks a day here.
The GDP here is 85,000 the GDP of Colombia is like 11,000

If americans can't contextualize the effects a global pandemic had on GLOBAL inflation, then yes...they are dumber than me.
