SNK was never popular in the states so iconic is relevant. People have actually demanded the return Richard Myer and the others I listed.

None of those characters are stereotypes as SNK were the first to create them or what were prominent in the cultural landscape at the time.

Tanya was a victim of an awful 3d era. But she's was included in the game because she's important.
