Does Game of Thrones get better after season 3?

I just started watching Game of Thrones and I'm up to season 3 now.

The first two seasons I liked, but season 3 so far been kind of boring to me.

Is the general consensus that season 3 is not as good as the other ones?

Does it get better after season 3 again?

All the seasons are amazing but to me season 5 and 6 was the weakest.

In a word....."No." Season 4 is the last really solid season, mostly because it still pulls from the source material, A Song of Ice and Fire. After that, its hit or miss...simply because the show writers have to try and resolve G.R.R. Martin's vision without much clue as to whats next in the novels. And unfortunately...they aren't quite as brilliant in their story telling as Martin.

Season 7 was the weakest. Season 6 was the beginning of the end. Tyrion's character becomes dull and boring. The franchise is pretty much dead at this point and I doubt Season 8 will be any good (unless GRR is involved)

Y’all crazy S4-S6 is fire and offers some of the shows best moments.

S7 has its moments but the pacing a plot holes are infuriating when you’ve already become accustomed to a certain formula/style since season 1

There are some weak episodes, but you haven't even come close to reaching some of the best episodes of the entire series (Hardhome and Battle of the b*stards).
