Orphan Black is pretty great sci-fi and possibly has the best actress working on TV right now
Fargo is filmed in Alberta and most of Hannibal was shot in Toronto as are Suits, The Strain and Heroes Reborn... Might be missing more
but in never finished it in the last season...
he's not talking about where they choose to film a show. the shows you're talking about are american shows and the scenery is even meant to depict american cities when they aren't.
19-2 is a good show.

Fukk this country for a lot of things but not a damn nation on Earth can touch America in film and television. Think of the best shows, movies, and even music if we're going down all forms of media and everybody else seems to be shyt at it. I've tried watching foreign shyt and rarely is it good, like 99% is straight trash while 1% is ok.

The opening series was pretty decent, went downhill after that. Nothing great about it, or the lead actor.
Stiff like Mr. Robot, Humans, Utopia and Black Mirror are much better recent sci-fi.
