I was in a deep thought about this yesterday.

Take Texas for example a state that outlawed them

The “ban” has had the effect of making certain ppl of prestige(people in the medical field) and other higher educated and higher earning persons move out the state. And if it has caused ppl to move out I’m sure it’s caused ppl to not move here as well.

Now, you may say, that’s just collateral damage, we atleast stopped ppl from getting abortions. Ocay I could see that point, IF it actually worked. The thing is, everyone who wants abortions is still getting them. It hasn’t put a DENT in it.

Either they travel outta state, or they get abortion pills on the blacc market. Either way they’re still getting them.

So basically you pass a law in vain, with no real effect on stopping abortions, then on top of that it drives away other people from living or moving to the state

What is really the point of it?

Its a net negative. Those rich white women will move, poor women of all races will tie their tube's, and a lot of those white men will secretly be :wrist:
