Does anyone use WhatsApp to text/send messages?

Ive heard people who use it for that complain at times that they don’t get text messages people send to them.

Anyone use it and ever have that problem?

Yeah my family has a group where they use that to text each other.

And for some of my classes we make Whatsapp groups to send messages.

And have you ever not gotten some texts from people because of lack of connection or something?

Only other people who have the app.
Never had any problems sending or receiving texts.

I use it for fam out of the country and one of my classes we have a group chat. Text always come through but with calls, I've been told I was called (after the fact) but my phone didn't ring and whatsapp doesn't show I was called

Can you tell if someone is on the phone using the app?

I was on the phone with somebody and they had a call on the other line and the person calling her said they knew she was on the phone through WhatsApp

You can play with the settings and set it up any which way you want. I never really used it for regular phone calls. Only texts and video calls

Yeah. Sending pics and videos is much better thru whatsapp. Quality stays perfect

I use it, never had any problems.

i prefer it over regular texts
