notion that nobody ever really dies?

like, after you become conscious around age 2 or whatever you will always be conscious of your existence, even when you "die"

because i think of it like this :

1. i think of the ergo cogito sum (i think, therefore i am).... so if you have to ability to think, then you exist, and once you gain the ability to think you will always be able to think, thus exist

2. even if there is a lapse in time where you can't "think" i dont see how you would even feel the time that this occurs, it would feel like a blink in time (similar to when you first became conscious) with possibly thousands of years gone by, maybe even more

3. after more thought i could only come up with a perpetual dream state, so that would kinda make sense because when people have near death experiences they always claim to have "seen heaven" :stopitslime: but it could really just be them almost slipping into that and they just interpret it according to their religion.

And i just cant get down with the idea that everyones thoughts and spiritual energy all go to the same place.... think of all the fukking people who would be in that bytch :scusthov; fukking mongolians and shyt man

but i dont know :yeshrug: its just kinda trippy knowing that after i became conscious that its gonna be like that forever.

I HAVE DONE NO RESEARCH, JUST shyt I THOUGH OF ON MY OWN :yeshrug: SUE ME

Yea I do. I think when we die our energy goes into others, primarily babies. So as we leave our bodies, all our traits go into other people, or those most close to us. Im still tinkering with the theory.

I used to be a full on atheist, but now I'm leaning towards something like this.

So in other words you believe in reincarnation.

not necessarily coming back to earth, shyt for all i know it could be like a dream state forever :yeshrug: and thats not reincarnation...

another reason i cant say reincarnation is because of the memories being lost... and if you lose your memories then that would mean that we all most likely already lived before

and the thought of that shyt is :skip:

so i'd go with a dream state or some shyt :yeshrug:

Regardless of what our opinions are, I think its interesting that we'd discuss something like this on a hip hop site. It shows you how things are shifting and people are opening up to more esoteric things. 10 years ago, talking about this would've been taboo.

But anyways, I believe in reincarnation (which negates the possibility of me believing in any religion) and that we come into physical form to gain valuable experiences for the soul. The soul is all-knowing, but its one thing to know somthing, but quite another to experience it. And from what I understand, earth is one of the hardest planets to incarnate on because of the harsh adversity (a lot of other planets are like paradises), but that adversity accelerates our soul growth.

I just read a book called Journey of Souls: Case Studies of Life Between Lives by Michael Newton Ph.D., and the book goes into the process of dying, what happens on the the other side, and how we choose to reincarnate into our next lives.

:ohhh: good shyt

i definitely took other planets into account because since energy and matter cant be destroyed nothing is really stopping that matter from reaching other planets and whatnot (atleast the ones which support life) and im 100% sure other planets can just by the sheer amount of them there are. :yeshrug:

I think that, in following the cogito ergo sum idea, the final thoughts that we do have will seem like an eternity for "us" because it's the last moment "we" are there. Since time is relative and not a fixed concept, that moment will stretch out to what we perceive to be infinitely...That's where the notions of heaven and hell come from. If you know in your heart of hearts you was living bad, those mental demons (for lack of a better world) will surface themselves and you're gonna suffer "eternal" misery and regret and seperation from the natural goodness and benevolence that is the creative force behind all things.

I always believed that when we died it would be like we'd be conscious and shyt and aware of it. I believe wed be able to think but not necessarily communicate with each other. I refuse to believe that we'd just be dead and thats it no thought no nothing. I just can't see it.
