Does anybody else hate how album are instant classics after they come out here

albums come out on here and people are so excited to get the album early that they mix that anticipation with their reviews. its almost like some of yall feel like you have to say the album was good. i wont even get into the nas album thread that was stannery to its epitome on this site. not saying it was bad neither was big seans mixtape, but i mean why is it so hard to modest about opinions. Some know and some will find out in a weeks time that so called classic has finally had time to marinate and has taking its rightful place on ratings. am i alone on this or have other people seen the same trend

Sometimes an album will leak a week before it's retail release date and some blogs will have a review up three days later. How you gon' review an album that ain't even "out" yet? That's the world we live in though, stans will be stans, haters gon' hate. They'll do it with speed too.

the word classic has lost its meaning. whenever i see that word being used in here i just be like

everytime a new joint drops i be seeing at least two or three mufukkas posting like 'yo just got to track 2. on the first listen this shyts fire. i smell an instant classic'...

to me a classic is something thats widely acknowledged as a monumental piece of the genre. but on here classic means your personal favourite album of the month...low standard azz having mufukkas

if you think an albums dope then say its dope, if you think an albums excellent then say its excellent...and if you think an album is 'classic', think of whether there's alternative words of choice...because 9 times out of 10, it aint

If a nikka likes it and a few people call it classic then everyone else calls it classic too. You can't listen to an album for a week and call it classic. Just cause it's hot doesn't mean it's classic.
