Fast, strong, athletic, agile, talented, confident, and scoring savvy. In my opinion a healthy Dajuan Wagner improves his field percentage yearly. He also becomes a 25-28 ppg player by at least his 3rd season. At least 6 all-star appearances, two all NBA nods, and atleast two scoring titles.

Them New Jersey boys are pure scorers. Just from watching his highlights I see him and Kyrie share that same scoring DNA. Just natural bucket getters.

If he played in this era and doesn't get sick he has a WAY different career.

Not sure cuz in his era PGs were still pure PGs.

You had Jkidd
GP
Steve Nash
Maybe a few others I'm leaving off at the top of their game.

Wagner was more a 2guard and that wasn't accepted yet as it is now

They say these kids today are better but I believe a Memphis Dajuan Wagner would be running through this NCAA tourney.

not in that era, Wagner was considered a tweener back then, not really a PG and too small to play SG

Gilbert was the same era.

To answer OP's question, he would have a good career but 2 scoring titles is lofty and 2 All-NBA selections in a whole career isn't an All-NBA career.

He put up 20 a night as a rookie for the Cavs. Him and Bron in that backcourt would of been a nightmare for the rest of the league. Bron being doubled and kicking it out to him is money. Dajuan being double and catching Bron while he is slashing is money.

And Bron being there means he's definitely not scoring enough for a scoring title. This is still the 2000s where 2 20 PPG guys on one team was a big deal.

?? Basketball reference has him putting up 13 on 13 shots lol. Not exactly killing it or 20 a night.
