It's easy to lock native born out of a business when you've got that hookup back in the homeland, and they won't deal with anyone except family and folks who look just like them.

Which is illegal in the States, but they bring that attitude with them.

Same thing happens with textbooks and electronics. Textbook costs 300 in the States, 60 bucks in Indonesia, Indonesian immigrant has the hookup back home and makes a lot of money selling to home-grown Americans at a nice profit. Americans think they got a deal along with their student loans they're not going to be able to pay their way out of, immigrant won't have student loans because they've got a home business and a home hookup. Who's come out on top?

Nikkas have no global hookups. But a few nikkas are cultivating them. Problem is those hookups are either for other people or strictly for self, not the community --- because the community is too fukking fractured to come together for anything except church, sports or injustice. We do it to ourselves -- and I'm looking at all the nikkas living off mama's money, baby mama's money, baby daddy's money, bae's money, whomever, on that 'i'll pay you back i'm really trying hard the deal fell through can i borrow more money' tip. A lot of small time shyt going down, but pooling resources nationally, where a nikka can go to any black community and expect help that doesn't come with a Church membership? Too much pain, too much sacrifice, too many Raisin in the Sun moments.

Y'all remember that one, right?

So the answer is to either make those global hookups, or say fukk it and create an industry where we have our own hookups and then don't let anybody else get in.
