How can anyone dispute this? They faced each other twice and Doc won one and so did Phil. Thats an equal split im my mind and especially in the first series Doc really out coached him.

Doc may not have all the rings because he wasnt dealt all the players lucky ass Phil was. Give Doc Michael Jordan or even Kobe and he would have just as many rings

difficult to come up with an argument as the why doc would be equal when phil had way more success. they hire coaches to win games and fired coaches who don't win games. therefore a coach who wins game is better than a coach who doesn't. while doc has had his share of success i bet you the celtics would fire him with a quickness if they had the opportunity to hire Phil.

I'm pretty sure that's an equal split in anybody's mind.
