Made my anti-religious cold heart turn warm for a second. Man might be a horrible science teacher, but he's a good man.

I had the coolest physics teacher in high school. He was like a physics version of Walter White on methamphetamines. Dude had crazy energy even at 8am in the morning, he had a rule that you couldn't rest your head on your hand and if he caught you doing it he'd made you stand up for like 5minutes. But he had a huge passion for teaching physics and he was really unpredictable which I thought was fun. Also he was cool as hell, this dude I knew came in reeking of weed and he just took him aside and said "I think it's better to wait until after school to do that, I just don't want you to get into trouble, I know what it's like, I was young once". He coulda got homie expelled :ld:

edit: wow I didn't know he's from Male Highschool here in Louisville...story is sad :to: hes a good dude

He's a good man for sure. I respect teachers that make in impact on the lives of their students in that way.

But some of the comments in there are a bit troubling:

"He doesn't care about teaching us Newton's Third Law"

"The How isn't it important, only the why"

The last statement especially I considered odd since it was probably the people asking "how" that made it possible to understand his son's condition and how to improve it. It was probably the people asking "how" that made it possible to invent sign language.

Hmm, thats strange. I don't even remember what the third law is :snoop: why would he not be willing to teach it?

I'm pretty sure Male is a private school, I can't remember for sure though, I only knew a couple people that went there.
