Like for example, my dad from time to time will speak on other friends of mine who I keep in touch with and how well their doing now with their endeavors and will make it seem like the way they go about doing things is better than I could ever do. And it'll be ridiculous too because I might've done something the exact same way but because it's "me", it wasn't as amazing


Or like the other day my mom was like "when I was calling home earlier today to check in with your dad, I couldn't remember our house phone number."

And the thing is, I can tell when their trolling because they either make this face = my dad or = my mom

I was going to this show that I would always catch when it was in town. My father started hinting and letting on that he was buying me a ticket. So I caught on and didn't buy the ticket (it was something I did as my own thing, with my own money). So the day of it came, he has people over and I'm waiting and..he never says anything. I know it wasn't a misunderstanding or miscommunication because he was looking over at me like :babymad:. Today, we have no relationship (for other reasons). I just filed it away and never said anything about it.
