Do you wear beaters out and about?

When the weather gets nice and your looking really nice after all that hard work will you wear a beater to places like the supermarket, mall or anywhere really?

when i get stoned and have wore a beater going to get groceries i get paranoid thinking i look like a tool and like im too under dressed when shopping for food.

i really only wear one when its really hot out and they are always new never really worn twice so its fresh looking but im thinking about dropping them from my wardrobe and getting some tanks or something i dunno

I used to do it, while parking lot pimping, after a function, but now I view that as tasteless for some reason.


I'd be down to do it at school, but the AC is always on blast from the library to the classroom. And once again, my clothes are fitted to the point, where my muscles are highly visible...

Let's clarify:

If we're talking just plain wifebeaters you bought in KMart, then that's always a douche look. But if it's tanks like @observe posted, then I think that's when it's hot out.

But like everything in life, there's a time and place for it. The Supermarket is fine. Probably not the movies or dinner though.
