Lets say the mac millers, asher roths, and insert semi popular corny white rapper here like mgk

do u think their parents respect what they do? or do they think their sons are fukkin clowns that should have taken advantage of their white privilege to do something better for the "legacy of their family"?

I think white parents in general are more in that "whatever makes you happy" mode.

White parents are prolly more supporting of it. And help em get into certain positions to advance in the industry.

Most parents I'd guess would give you the :usure: face if you said to them that you wanted to be a rapper or even a musician for that matter.

Most parents want their children to have a stable job and income being an actor or musician isn't the most stablest to say the least.

For every Jay-Z there's 5 Afromans.

I imagine that a lot of white rappers(especially these days) got into the biz through their parents money and connections.
