Do you think that ROckets coach Kelvin Sampson is right for going with the hot hand?

AS you seen last night, he went with Gerg Smith, Defino, and Tony Douglass over starters Parsons, Lin, and ASik during the 4th quarter against the lakers. First coach (McHale, JVG, Adelman) that will stick to players who are doing well during the game and not worry about giving the starters their minutes.

Me personally, i think even though, Sampson has done the "right" thing to reward those who do well by letting this stay in the game, it does make things difficult for the struggling players - namely Jeremy Lin. Now, speaking from a totally unbiased standpoint, does a struggling starter really need the added pressure of having his minutes reduced? Will it help him regain his confidence, and more importantly, will it hinder his ability to live up to the value we have placed in him?

And also, this doesnt make Houston any mroe attractive to a other stars who know that the team will reward another player your minutes if your stinking it up and he's playing great

Sampson wouldve had no issue taking Howard out the game last night.

No problem with last night. Lin needs to get it together. Parsons was probably due for an off night.
