Na, man, RVD is like the only dude who was born not to be a heel.
nope! because when he first started doing this current act years ago in ECW it was designed for him to a heel, it never really registered and the people just cheered him anyway. It carried over an got stonger when came to WWE in 2001. He considered too much of a legend now turning him heel now would a waste.

The guy was a tremendous douchebag heel early in his ECW run. So, yes, he CAN play heel.
Can he play heel AT THIS POINT? Probably not. He's in that Flair territory where nothing he'll do will get booed, no matter what.

My definition of a heel is someone who gets booed. When he was the cocky a$$hole "heel" he was over, which really makes him a tweener. I think the only time he was really a heel was the old ECW/WWF invasion angle.

i think he'd make a great heel because naturally he loves himself so much. some heels still get cheers though unfortunately.
