Do you think black people have a natural distrust for one another ? How can we fix it

Sometimes I catch myself stereotyping another black man even if he is dressed properly and has a legit business. I have to force myself a lot to do business with them over white people because I think I've been conditioned through media and my own upbringing to think we might be quick to cheat each other

Also it would hurt me more if a another black man cheated me then a white dude so sometimes I avoid helping and setting up a partnership or even befriending other black people and I have had bad experiences with it in the past

Only good black owned stores I felt comfotable with are barbershops and clothing If i have the money they be African shops at the mall I spend money on .

You're not the only one. This is by design. The media INTENTIONALLY showcases the negative stereotypes of the black race for this very reason. It has helped in the self-hate amongst ourselves and why we distrust each other
