i feel so that if we are going to move on as a people we need to respect and protect our sistas who will show us respect, love, etc back to us. but what is your opinion ?

What does "respect" and "protect" mean and to what extent would you say is enough "protection" and "respect"? Because as far as I can tell, the only reason black women feel "unprotected" and "disrespected" is because they live in cac society where they are targets like black men and disrespected like black men. Elsewhere in the world they have few complaints. Perhaps Malcolm X was saying that black men should do more for black women, but that's hard to do given how outnumbered and outgunned black men were and are in the Americas.
